getting my hands hennaed on the streets of delhi
It was a cool evening so I bundled up and sat on the curb with this woman and her son as they hennaed my hands. usually this is done for indian weddings but i jumped at the opportunity and 1 week later it's still looking fine :)
student and teacher!
Louise and I on our last Friday morning of lead primary full vinyasa. It was a marvellous way to warm ourselves on a crisp Dec 10th morning and finish off 9 incredible weeks. Thanks Louise! I know I will see you again soon!!
ah, reika, i miss you cutie
she has to be one of my favourites from ramana's garden where i volunteered for my first month in rishikesh. i know. i know. we're not supposed to have favourites, but she's adorable. each morning as i would go to the yoga shala, which is right next to the orphanage, i would see her. so cute!
sadhus and cell phones
we met this sadhu alongside the ganga river in rishikesh. he told us he hasn't cut his hair in 37 years. he had very few material possessions but then....his cell phone rang. hilarious!

Visiting the village near the waterfall
And we were taken in by this lovely couple who offered us chai and sooji but most of all a memorable experience!
Having Fun!
Theresa and Sumitra taking self portraits at her place outside Dehra Dun. The next day we traveled together to Mussourie.
